Give Your Houseplants a Makeover

I seriously can’t go to a store that sells plants anymore without looking at each and every one, trying to decide if I have room for just one more. You too? I hope so…then you’re definitely the coolest person I know.

If you happen to buy a plant (and if you do, you’re super lucky), you might want it to look a little better than it does in it’s store-bought pot. If the plant doesn’t need to be repotted right away, there are lots of options to make the pot look a little better. Have an extra basket laying around? Plop that plant in and it will instantly look like a million bucks. Or maybe like $20, but still!

I love to thrift baskets for this very purpose (too many, truth be told)…and I also love how plants look in old ceramic crocks (ask Grandma, I’m sure she has one somewhere you can use!).
